Welcome to Corridor Key ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our website at corridorkey.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

Corridor Key is a free online tool that provides:

• AI Green Screen Keying for Video: Upload a short video clip (up to 8 seconds), choose a new background (solid color, image, or video), and download the keyed MP4.

The service is provided free of charge and does not require account registration.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Corridor Key only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
• Upload video clips you do not own or have permission to use, including clips of identifiable people without their consent.
• Upload content depicting minors, non-consensual imagery, or anything that violates applicable laws.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the service.
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-process clips beyond normal usage.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the service.
• Use the service to infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

Intellectual Property

• Your Content: You retain all rights to video clips you upload. We do not claim ownership of your uploads.
• Keyed Output: You own the keyed MP4 output produced from clips you have the right to use. You may use it for any purpose, including commercial use (social media content, client work, ads, ecommerce, etc.), provided you have the rights to the source clip.
• Our Service: The Corridor Key website, its design, code, and branding are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
• AI Models: The AI model used by Corridor Key is the open-source MIT-licensed BiRefNet, run via a third-party Hugging Face Space. Model usage is subject to the respective upstream licenses.

Privacy

We do not retain your uploaded clips or keyed outputs on our servers. Clips are processed via a third-party Hugging Face Space. For full details on how we handle data, please see our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• The AI-generated output will meet your specific quality requirements on every clip (edges, motion, lighting, and source quality all affect results).
• The service will be available at all times (the upstream Hugging Face Space may experience downtime, be paused by its author, or hit GPU queue delays).

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Corridor Key shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, clips, or keyed outputs.
• Inaccurate AI-generated output (artifacts, edge errors, frame-to-frame instability).
• Service downtime or interruptions.

Third-Party Services

Corridor Key relies on third-party services including:

• Hugging Face: AI model hosting and video processing (via the open-source innova-ai/video-background-removal Space).
• Cloudflare: Website hosting and CDN.

These services are subject to their own terms and conditions.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
